This Privacy Policy explains how Nimbus (“Nimbus,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Nimbus desktop app and the meetnimbus.ai website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in we receive your name and email address from your identity provider (Google) so we can create and manage your account.
• Billing information. Paid plans are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive your subscription status and plan, but we never see or store your full card details.
• Usage and diagnostics. We collect limited technical data — such as app version, device type, and error reports — to keep the Service reliable.
• Screen and voice context. To assist you, Nimbus can read what is on your screen and listen when you talk to it. This content is processed to fulfill your request and is not sold or used for advertising.

AI processing

Nimbus is powered by OpenAI. To generate responses, the data you provide when you use Nimbus is sent to OpenAI, which processes it to produce the Service’s replies. This includes your prompts, the words you speak to Nimbus, and screenshots of your screen that Nimbus captures to understand your request. OpenAI processes this content on our behalf under OpenAI’s privacy policy. We do not sell this content or use it for advertising.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• Authenticate you and manage your account and subscription;
• Respond to your requests and provide support;
• Keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

Service providers

We share information only with vendors who help us run the Service — including Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Supabase (account data storage), and OpenAI (AI processing) — and only as needed to provide it. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at nimbus@meetnimbus.ai.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
